It is possible, however, for comfort to be a dangerous thing.
There are steps you can take to rejuvenate your learning when you begin to feel like your progress has stalled. You don’t need to worry about whether or not your system is too comfortable.

new language learners make mistakes and they don't like it, that's why they give up at the first hurdle because they want to be perfect from day one. Trust me, You may not realize this but making mistakes is the only way to become fluent in a language faster than you ever thought possible.
Stop Being Shy and Just Start Speaking!
you think you are shy but in reality you aren’t any more shy than the rest of us. If you feel shy, introverted or unsociable at times, and comfortable socializing with other people at other times, then you're not shy, you are just normal. Defining yourself strictly as shy is inaccurate and can even have detrimental effects. So just speak for heaven's sake!
