Top Five Netflix Series You Should Watch On Weekends

...As the weekend approaches, you may think it's time to start thinking about your watchlist - and Netflix carries a large selection of series; so you won't have trouble finding your next obsession. I devoured the content available on Netflix and have some great recommendations for you. These shows don't share a genre, subject matter, or much else besides their place on Netflix, but they are all unique and worth watching.


Lost in Space (2018-2021)

Lost in Space is a remake of Irwin Allen's 1965 TV classic. It is a science fiction narrative that is centred on a young explorer family from Earth, who is lost in an alien world. A family's ship is abruptly thrown off course and crashes into a perilous alien environment while on its journey to what they assume will be a better world in a space colony. They must form new partnerships to survive and eventually flee light-years from their initial goal.

The Queen's Gambit is an American TV drama mini-series based on Walter Tevis's 1983 novel The Queen's Gambit. The title alludes to the chess opening known as the "Queen's Gambit." It begins in the mid-1950s and continues into the 1960s. The plot follows Beth Harmon (Anya Taylor-Joy), a fictional chess prodigy, as she rises to the top of the chess world while battling drug and alcohol addiction. With the help of her oldest friend from the orphanage, Jolene, she prepares to face the world's best chess players in Moscow in one of the largest international chess tournaments.

"El Profesor," the almost unbelievably brilliant and well-organized figure who designs and directs the greatest robbery Spain has ever seen; is the mastermind behind it all.

Stranger Things is set in Hawkins, Indiana, in the early 1980s. They have unintentionally established a doorway to another reality known as "the Upside Down." Will Byers is kidnapped by an Upside Down creature in the first season. Joyce, Will's mother, and Jim Hopper, the town's police chief, are on the lookout for him. At the same time, Eleven, a young psychokinetic girl, breaks free from the laboratory and aids Will's pals Mike, Dustin, and Lucas in their own search for Will.

Their firm becomes a success, but Otis develops feelings for Maeve, which leads to a conflict.
